So cross with myself 😔 got a ridiculous cold that has gone to my chest and should of done week 8 run 2 tonight. Not missed a run throughout this brilliant process but it scuppered me tonight.
Dare I say I actually miss not running 🙈❤

Sorry to hear you’re not well 🤧 The running will still be there when you’re feeling better and back to normal. If I can’t run, I find listening to podcasts lifts my mood and keeps me entertained whilst staying ‘in the loop’ ☺️
Ah, that's a shame Secretfriend 😔
But you'll recover much quicker if you rest now and don't push yourself while you're not up to it - the run will wait for you 😊
Hope you feel better soon 😊 💐
You haven’t missed a run... it’s still gonna be there waiting for you to kick its butt once you’re better. What you have done is made a great decision not to run with a cold affecting you below the neck. Get well soon... you’ll almost certainly benefit from the extra rest days as you’ll be back with fresh legs.
Dont worry, you'll be fine.
I haven't run since early February due to chest colds and holiday. But I know the next run is waiting for me and I'll get it done one way or another.
Hang in there. Just focus on getting better :-).
Mig
Isn’t it annoying to be ill? 😨 But as everyone has said, tough it out at home and don’t risk damage to your lungs. You’ll soon be back on the track. 😄👍
That sucks and so close to the end too but you're doing the right thing, listen to the advice on here and listen to your body, a few days off isn't going to hurt and you'll come back stronger and more determined than ever 💪👊
I'm gutted for you, we are at the same stage as each other and were going to be graduation buddies 😊
Enjoy the rest and feel better soon 👍
YOU’RE ILL!!! That’s different to simply wilfully missing a run because you couldn’t be bothered to get out of bed or whatever.
Get better and get back on it, and, no, not weird to miss it. Must mean you genuinely like it. Yaay!!!
Don’t worry that happened to me too. Was on run 3 week 1 and had to leave it for 10 days as could not breathe properly. Completed that last week. Was going to do run 1 week 4 and crashed my car and spent the whole afternoon doing paper work to get it fixed. So just rest and get well. The running will be there when you get better.
