Having perfected the art of doing no exercise for most of my life, I am thrilled to see that I have just clocked a total of 300km on runkeeper in the last 6 months since starting C25K.
How amazing is that!

Yes -- that is amazing. I have a similar situation and I do like Runkeeper for this. I have logged 190 klm over 51 runs since January. I have also started to enter the details of each run into a spreadsheet - to see if I can quantify any "improvement" . Apart from the obvious that I am running time and distance that I could not have dreamed of 3 months ago - it appears that my pace remains much the same. But I am not concerned about pace really -- more interested in being able to run over longer distances without any bad effects.
That is indeed truly amazing. Congratulations. 300k - how many laps around the couch is that anyways?
Well done you it just goes to show age is no excuse not to excerise , I started the c25k at 73, lost over a stone and still out there at 75 Pat
That is great - well done.
Do you think we'll see a forum for couches coping with loneliness ?
Well done, you deserve to be pleased. This is something you put the effort into and now you see the results. Good luck with your future runs and my very best wishes.
Congratulations! I just started so this is really inspiring and motivating
Absolutely fabulous! Please explain what run keeper is.... Thanks!
Runkeeper is an App for Apple and Android phones. It does what many other Apps like it do -- keeps track of your run by using GPS, works things like pace out and reports to you while running, sends your run statistics to a central website where you can "analyse" your efforts, plays music to you -- but what I like about it most is that you can programme running intervals into it ( something which I don't know that any other Android App can do)
