Back after a break.

I finished C25K a while ago but struggled really with what to do next and eventually stopped running altogether. I feel the need to try again as it really does help my mood ( and weight!) but wasn’t sure where to start. Had a go at end of week 5, the 20 minute run, even ran a few more minutes at the end so glad I’m not right back at the beginning after few months off. Hopefully I’ll get to back to 30 minutes before too long and I can start working on my speed which is soooooo slow!

Well hello Bumblebetty! It’s nice to have you back with us again! Well done on doing week 5 again after your break - not sure I’d be able to! I’ve been trying to run 3 times a week since graduating in August but my average is still around 10 minutes per Km so don’t worry about being slow - there are still plenty of us out there doing our bit for snail-dom!! Keep posting and happy running!

I’m very impressed you are running 3 times a week! That’s my dream rally but I’m such an excuse finder. Need to do it religiously for a while I think and see if I can make it a habit. I’m not really interested in speed or distance, just in finding a way to keep fit that I don’t hate too much lol.

Well done.

Speed is over rated, slow runners live longer, according to this article womensrunning.com/culture/s...
