Had to wait a couple of hours to get out this morning as the pavements were treacherous with black ice first thing... So I ran with breakfast in my stomach for the first time, won't repeat that again! Both runs this week have been much harder than W5R3, I dont like having to stop to wall again once I've found my stride, hope that means that Saturday will be easier! I've started to notice achy shoulders and hios during my runs so need to do some more research about posture, I fixed a knee niggle by changing my gait a little but maybe I've created an new issue? Anyway, 4.5km in 33 mins today in the freezing cold dodging ice patches! Time for a celebratory hot cross bun! 😂

Well done on your run! This weather is certainly challenging...I was hoping for a run this morning, but swapped it for yoga indoors when I saw the lashing, icy rain. Pffffft!

Re: aching shoulders - it is all too easy to hunch up/hold tension in the shoulders when you run, which could be causing your aches. I have to sporadically tell myself to relax my shoulders when running!
