I am on week 5 run 1. I am trying to run outside but how are people coping with the recent storms. Are you fighting the wind or going to the gym or other......? Thanks

Some are braving the storms, others are going to the gym, depends how windy it is, if it's blowning 80 mph and trees are falling all around, slates are being blown off roofs, bins blown along the street and the power is off, that is not the type of weather to go for a run, better stay at home, if its not too windy, then you can go for a run. 🏃🏾 👍
Hahaha completely agree with AlMorr. I managed this morning with a spattering of snow and hail, it was slightly slippy underfoot in some places so I took it extra steady and I’d only go in the daylight when it’s like that so I can keep my eyes where my feet are going (slush and puddle dodging!) if it was much worse than this morning and I really still wanted to run I’d hit the treadmill, but haven’t had to resort to that YET 😂
Also I HATE the wind, it can rain all day long but running in the wind makes me want to run and hide in the nearest cafe!!

A lot depends on where we are, and more importantly where the storms are. I’ll run in snow, rain, and a bit of wind... nothing gets me running in storm force wind or on ice.
Fighting it, within reason. Ran a day early to avoid Sunday (I usually have 2 rest days), but went out yesterday - it can be quite exhilarating 😁
I don't mind rain, but I hate the wind. I've managed to get out twice this week but I can already see I won't be out at the weekend. I've added an extra swimming session, the trouble with the gym is that everyone has the same idea - there's always space outdoors.
