So, just completed w1r2 and my right hip is hurting, just wondering if this is my body getting used to this? Really don’t want to stop as it’s taken a lot to start !

I just did wk1 run 2 and felt the exact same only in both hips 🤷🏻‍♀️ gonna

Make sure I do some stretches and try again in a few days! I’m hoping it’s just our bodies getting used to it

It is quite common to get aches and pains when you first start running (I used to ache all over, well, for the first few weeks!) But, pain can also be a sign of a muscle imbalance somewhere, so it is a good idea to supplement your running with some strength work. Check out the Strength and Flex forum for some ideas! Sore hips can often be a result of “lazy glutes”, so squats might be your new best friend. 😁👍 Hope it eases up soon.
