Literally. My knee was sore yesterday after Saturday's parkrun but nothing major and I had a very lazy day. Towards evening the pain got worse though, very sore and the pain is in a new place. Getting up and down the stairs is no fun and I didn’t feel up to walking the kids to school today😬 couldn't get through to docs so will take it easy again today and try again tomorrow if not improved. Boo, I was looking forward to trying to increase the length of my runs.

Thanks 🙂

Oh no! You’re doing the right thing by resting and taking it easy. Hope you get to see the gp soon if there’s no improvement

Thanks, luckily I am not working today but it means I can't get as many jobs done. I'll potter around and do stuff around the house.

Thanks, I don't tend to get the ice out soon enough. I am today though. Even dug out an old tubigrip but that seemed to make it worse.

I am using some spare mini ice packs from the kids packed lunches 😂 shhh! I used to have a proper gel pack but no idea where it is, I will look out for something online 👍

Hope you're back on your feet soon. Once you get, try the exercises on the strength and flex forum, or the knee exercises on the NHS website. 👍

Thanks, I am already doing the knee exercises 👍 and a few extra ones from the physio. Not sure what has gone wrong now. Knees 🙄

Sorry to read this. You mentioned your IT band in a previous post - are you stretching and using a foam roller? I have IT band issues and although I don't roll my actual IT band, I do find that rolling my quads helps. Just a thought. Hope your back up and running soon.🤞🙂

Thanks. Yes, been doing all my knee strength exercises and foam roller torture (quads and ITB) 😂 and stretches afterwards. I have a few issues going on with my knees, I am amazed I got this far to be fair. Really hope I can keep going 🤞
