Week 4 run 1

I did it! I knew I would push through it and it was hard, but not as hard I thought it would be. I did find myself saying“I can do this” and “don’t stop, keep going”. Had a twinge at the side of my lower leg, but the walking breaks helped. So pleased with myself and encouraged by the post saying that the second run this week was easier. I know it’s different for everyone, but it’s given me the motivation to keep going. 👍🏼😇😊

If you're finding a run tough, try dropping your pace a little - it can make a big difference! Great that you found a mantra to help you through it too. Hope your leg feels better - remember, it's ok to take an extra rest day if needed. Listening to our bodies is so important. Good luck with your next run🙂
