So this week is W4 normally go out Monday,Wednesday and Friday had appointment yesterday, so no run,I’ve noticed that I seem to have a very sore pain in base is back going down right side down back of of thigh and when I sit my leg hurts, feel guilty not going out but unsure if I’m going to make it worse. Not been out since Friday. Any advice on this please

Firstly, don’t feel guilty about not going out. Not running when you have pain is a very sensible decision. Secondly, you do need to go and see a doctor - nobody here can diagnose you I am afraid! The most important thing is to get a diagnosis and then work out what caused it, so you can guard against it happening again and do some strengthening if needs be. I do hope you are feeling better soon - and are able to get back to running! Injuries happen to the best of us, so don’t despair.

Runners need good core strength to avoid back issues, so plenty of planks and bridges will make all the difference.
