did w4r1 yesterday but then went for a walk after, about 5 miles, and now my legs and ankles ache. Should i postpone tomorrow's run or just try it and see how it goes. Any tips to help with aches?

I’m a big advocate for stretching - before and after a run, as per the links in the How to post, and on non run days. Well done on the run 👍😁

That was a long walk after a run, it’ll depend on how you feel when you get up tomorrow whether to take another rest day or not, we sometimes like an extra rest day

Stretching immediately after every run, nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/h... while muscles are still warm and supple, pulls out contractions, avoiding carrying tensions into the next run and also improves recovery by improving blood flow.
