Well i'm on my 2nd run through of C25K.. weeks 1-3 have been a breeze. Today wasn't.. and i realised how unfit i'd become. Pleased to say i finished it ok. It wasn't pretty ..gasping for breath and feeling like i'm running backwards. Anway what struck me was that defying that urge to quit is what it's all about for me.. not how far or how fast i'd run...and oddly i've missed that feeling. For me C25K is 20% physical and 80% mental .. yeah what do i know? What i do know is that the sense of acheivement is tangible.
So you may hit a run you think you can't do... you can... slow down and tell yourself just a bit further, and you'll get there.
