This lunchtime, after 4 months, I finally completed W9R3 so I guess I have graduated? Still cannot believe I can run virtually without stopping (kind off want to stop running before crossing busy road junctions) for 30+ mins now.
Why did i do the programme? Disliked running but knew it had health benefits plus it is an exercise that easily can fit around children. Love the outdoors too.
Anyway, I Started the programme in October and was thrown off track during Nov/Dec (weather, kids and inconvenience of Xmas) so I did the runs of W7 about 9 times! However got back into the swing of things from Jan and finally had the guts to try W9 R1 nine days ago... Now I just need to consolidate, build confidence, strength/flex plus explore joining a friendly running club to help me maintain the motivation to build on my fitness.
Fantastic training programme - just follow the instructions and believe in yourself. I defiantly think it’s more of a test of mental perseverance and determination to follow something through.
The tips on how to run were helpful at the start too - stuff the PE teachers at school hadn’t shared when I was staggering around the park during cross country.. 😂. Good luck to those on the programme - just believe in yourself & the programme and you will get there! 😘

Yes the PT teachers just told you to go outside and run cross country without ever having ran before, C25K is a excellent training course gradually getting you to run for 30 minutes non stop, not necessary 5K
Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 9 and graduating, well done 😀 🏃🏾 🎓
