Just seen this on facebook and thought I'd share - this year will be the first EVER Parkrun on 29 February! I am not waiting until the next one in 2048...

I’d better do this one!🏃‍♂️and it’ll be my 50th Parkrun if all goes to plan🤞I fully expect to be around for the next one though, when I’ll be sprightly 85 years old😳

They got the first date wrong. The last Feb 29th that fell on a Saturday was 1992. Every 28 years. 2048 is correct though. We had better make sure we are out for this one, definitely won't make the next!
