Been over a week now since I got out there. Not only did my fibro conspire against me, but so did life in general. My dad took ill this week while he was out at a footy match with one of my 3 kids, and being a single mum, and also an only child, it was all a bit overwhelming with having to cope with everything pretty much alone. He’s home all is well. Well I say all is well, he’s been diagnosed with a long term Illness and is struggling to get his head around it, although it could be considerably worse than it is, and it explains a lot the last few years, and now he’s getting the right treatment, so there are some blessings in all of this.
So back to the running. Do I start week 2 again? Or go back and redo week one? I guess I have to see how I feel if I manage to get out there.
Happy running everyone

Wow you have a lot going on. Dont stress too much about running, it has to be fun and doable. Listen to your gut instinct about w1 repeat, or w2 slowly then celebrate the fact you got out for a run. Happy running
Thank you Grannytobe. Yeah it is a bit much going on. I have to try not to think about it all or it’s a bit overwhelming. Anyway, keeping my strong head on as much as I can. And hopefully my running shoes shortly
Any run will help you cope with all that is jumbling around in your head, i’d be tempted to start week 2 and concentrate on going as slow as possible, good luck
Loving the ‘me time’ when I run. Can’t focus on anything other than putting one foot in front of the other and where I’m going, which I’m sure is the same for most. Mindfulness at its best
Sorry to hear how much you are trying to cope with. Very important to look after yourself as other wise you with not be any good at helping others. I agree at maybe trying week 2 and even if you don't succeed fully at least you pushed yourself. Take care and keep posting. 👍
Thank you Nilsam. Managed to push through and do the full fun today after all. Was tempted to give in a couple of times but just slowed down even more and pushed through it.
