Yesterday we done it, so week 2 done and dusted and all set for week 3.
We are all really up for it now and the difference in our initial fitness levels seems to be much less now. Our usual tail runner is giving up smoking too. Not sure if that is for health or financial reasons, or if not having to carry all the extra weight of her ciggies and lighter is going to help her with the running.
Tomorrow we will see. Not sure what to expect as we have not even looked at whats in store for us but we will give it a go .
Well done! And well done that quitter! Giving up smoking was the best thing did in terms of running. It makes such a difference in how I run (after an initial feeling crap period - which is apparently mandatory for quitters!) 👍👍
Well done to all of you, you've started to rattle through this like a steam train! Others on here keep advising people to just trust the program, do as your told and not to look ahead. Just take it slowly and do as you're told, C25K has prepared you for the next step each time. Unfortunately I like to be prepared, although I like surprises (well, nice surprises) I feel the need to mentally condition myself, so always do look ahead so far. I suppose that all I should do is to start every new week really extra slowly and just plod on following Laura's instructions. Anyway, enough about me, all the best for the start of next week, I hope you enjoy it, and please let us know how it goes, we will be cheering you all on.
