Have just completed run 2 and joined this forum. Have never run in my life am seriously overweight but am determined to make changes. I think I will need to do week one for a couple of weeks before I’m confident of going onto week 2.

Well done! You do whatever makes you feel most comfortable. But, might I add, I never felt confident going into the next week, but just did it anyway! You might surprise yourself...and the programme is beautifully designed. The key is to take the running portions dead slow. 👍 But like I said, you do whatever you feel comfortable! Running is mostly in the head. 🤪

As long as you keep running you are getting stronger for the next run, most of all enjoy yourself on this running journey

Well done for getting started 😊

You might surprise yourself when you get to week 2, but do what you feel comfortable with.

If you want support for losing weight, I can recommend the sister site to this one, nhs weight loss. They're a great bunch ☺️👍

Yeah you! I’ve also started this week. 56, overweight, layed off from work, and incontinent. The only thing that will stop you is you. So sweet that you started.
