It's been a little while since my last post on here but I haven't forgotten where the journey started π
I started C25K in June last year and graduated in September. All the runs were challenging and I was so proud of myself at the end of every one of them. So, what next after Consolidation? Bridge to 10K of course! π I followed the Magic Plan and Hey Presto! It worked! π
I'm loving my running so much that I wanted to set myself a few challenges for the year to keep it fresh and keep me motivated π
So here goes...Challenges I NEVER Imagined Possible! π€£
JANUARY...Run 50 Miles over the course of the month π I've done over 45 Miles so far, so I'm happy!
FEBRUARY...Run 60 Miles over the course of the month π
I cant begin to express just how grateful I am for both this program and also the support from you and everyone else on here.
I cant believe I'm running for 30 minutes 3x a week. Not only did that seem impossible before, it also seemed dumb. Why do people do that? And now I'm one of them.
I think its great that you're setting targets for the year already. And I have no doubt that with your determination, you'll exceed them all.
Thank you so much RunningMigster π I'm constantly amazed at what I'm capable of π€£ I ran my 3rd Parkrun on Saturday and for the first time didn't feel like an imposter!
Keep up all your good efforts too! You're doing great! X
Thank you Oldfloss β€οΈ I had a look at the Monsal Trail and thought it looked great... When I went to book it, it was already sold out! Definitely one for next year! Xxx
You should really be proud of your achievements ππ½really inspiring for the rest of us π
Fantastic challenges. When youβve achieved something amazing it really spurs you on to continue doesnβt it π
Let us know how you get on. I was talking to my daughter about doing a parkrun in Sheffield but will see if we can fit it in at some point maybe in the spring / summer.
