Experienced, out of practice

Hi All,

I just joined today.

I used to run a lot, 3 years ago I started training again and did a 1/2. Last year I did not run but walked a lot.

Wondering where to start, week 1 seems very simple and not enough to keep me interested. My plan is to run/cycle 6 days a week.

Love some advice.

As they say in the song "Lets start at the very beginning" as you have not ran for now over a year it would be advisable to start at week 1, perhaps you could just run one of the runs and two days later do week 2 twice, but once you get to week 3 keep to the 3 runs a week until run 3 of week 9.

Great idea. I know I can run for 5 mins from running with my cousins young son at Xmas. Love this idea, so that’s what I’m going to do :-) Let you know how the first one goes

Hello Burs477. Great you want to start running again. Wk1 may look very simple to you as you have ran previously but as you are starting again and you haven't run in a long time it maybe the best place to start and build up gradually. It's totally up to you. Good luck 😊
