Hi... I havent posted in ages but I am back. I managed first run since November today. I really hurt my back at beg of November and with a mix of other things and my own demons I just havent been able to run. Today I decided if I was ever going to run again it had to be today. There were no more excuses. I still have a cold but not bad enough for an excuse. I did it. Not far and only about 16 mins actually running but managed just over 2.5k so not too bad. I am determined to fight these demons (and my various injuries) and continue on the journey that nearly got me to 10k and helped me out of a very dark place .

Congratulations on getting back to running, just try and 'get shot' of those demons, what our friend ButtercupKid calls "a black dog" if you can get rid of that, you are on your way back to running. π ππΎ I also hope that your injury heals very soon.

Go steady and be kind to yourself. I finished C25k in August and was getting on fine til chest infection in October. Had to give it a rest for a bit and struggled to restart so I know how that feels. Finally got going a couple of weeks ago and took myself back to week 5. With Jo in my ear I am plodding on slowly and I know I can get there. Just take your time. Oh, and most of all, ENJOY! π
