Sorry to hear of your troubles, but glad to hear you're on the mend.

Hopefully running will help with the weight loss, but it's rarely the whole answer. I lost nearly three stone by going on a plant based diet and cutting out processed carbs. After decades of yoyo dieting, that and the running seems to have stabilised it.

Good luck 👍

You sound like you've got a great attitude, so I'm sure you'll succeed at this.

Just to manage expectations though, so many people dont lose weight on this program alone. In fact, in the first few weeks, you may actually find that you gain a pound our too.

However, dont despair! What you will notice, is that the inches start to disappear!

So forget the scales for now, and get your tape measure out!

Good luck!

Hi Mp83 sorry about your recent health scares. I have lost quite a bit of weight and got down to a healthy bmi running as helped but I also changed my diet . I just counted calories using my fitness pal app and changed the food I ate . More veggies less junk food and more lean protein. I’ve found I’ve stuck to this the more I run the more I want a healthy diet to help with that make sure you drink plenty water and you will do good. Good luck
