This seems weird but i swear i have been burping more since i started running last week. Usually i rarely burp but now... it's noticeable. 😳. Does anyone else experience this? Please say I'm not the only one..

Running with your mouth open and swallowing air without realising it ? As long as it doesn’t hurt, I wouldn’t worry too much. Most of these weird things drop away as you begin to find your own rhythm.

Thank you. I didn't realise i was swallowing air. I thought it was the sound of my food getting digested faster. Lol. But what you said makes more sense.

My brother told me to breathe in through my nose and out my mouth. I find it difficult to do that, as it doesn't come naturally to me. I'm working on it though.

It is hard at first - feels really weird. But the more you run the more natural it will become, and sounds like it might save some embarrassment ! All the best with it x

It's not a side effect I've heard mention before. Do you think you swallow air when you run?

Possibly. I do a lot of panting. Lol

Are you just burping while you run or all the time?

Both. While i run and afterwards too

It is probably just that you are jiggling around a bit and the air is coming to the top! How long do you leave it after eating before you run? If I go sooner than 2/2.5 hours after eating then I burp like a trooper! If I wait 3-4 hours then it is not too bad.
