With a little trepidation I progressed to week 2 today. Actually found the extra 30 seconds of jogging ok but ankles hurt a little today - no problem last week and ran in same trainers. Maybe my body just adjusting to its 4th session in 7 days. Feeling great though and really pleased that I’ve found the App and this support network.

Follow all the advice in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5... on minimising impact and do consider getting good quality running shoes earlier rather than later.

They can save pain and injury.

Take an extra rest day if you need to. I always took two rest days after completing each week.

And yes, I wish I'd splashed the cash and invested in good quality running shoes earlier than I did.

Keep on going, you're doing great!
