New trainers!
Sorry I donβt have any advice for the blisters. I used to get them until I got a gait analysis and new trainers and I havenβt suffered since. But weβll done on getting to week 2. Keep up the good work πͺπΌ
Not sure I can offer too much help here other than to ask if you're also wearing good running socks. I guess it all depends on the cause of the blisters, but the right socks certainly could help.
Welcome to the forum and well done
on your progress.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
and includes a link to advice about running shoes.
Running socks ease point pressure, but blisters are often caused by movement of shoe relative to foot, not by being too tight.
As others have said a gait analysis carried out at a specialist running shop will likely point you towards appropriate footwear that does not cause blisters.
Enjoy your journey.
