Ok so I noticed on the Nike run app you can add your trainers and keep a track of mileage they do.

How do you know when your trainers have done enough miles and they need replacing?

I just bought some Asics and had the same question. On the Asics website it says 500 miles / 800 km.

I don’t know how different brands / models compare to that though.

It also depends on your running style. In general I'm quite hard on my shoes so replace my trainers well before the 500k mark. A few months ago I bought a pair exactly the same and was horrified to see how much I had worn the soles off my old pair.

I’ll keep and eye on my new trainers for wear and tear and will keep and an eye on the mileage too 🙂
