It has been icy here for too long! I would never have thought when I started C25K in August that I would get withdrawal symptoms when not able to get out for a run. I last had a proper 5k run on Friday and a short 2.5k on Sunday then unable to get out because the roads were very icy. Today I just HAD to go! The roads were still a bit icy in places but sooo happy I got a run in before Christmas hits .

Glad you enjoyed your run today Woman golfer, I assume by your username you also enjoy playing golf, it just shows you how you are enjoying your running if you don't go for a run at least twice a week, what they call the running bug 🐛.
Yes I do enjoy golf, most of the time 😀. I try to get 3 runs in every week but struggling this week with the weather and heading south to my son and daughter in law for Christmas so a fair bit of travelling to do. I feel I must be enjoying running as I felt excited today at the prospect of a run. How bizarre 😁

Great effort, I was out with my walking group today, treacherous under foot. I was really glad to be walking not running. Here’s hoping there are some warmer days interspersed with these marvellous twinkly blue sky days
