Finally got to week 4 feeling cautiously confident and what happened? A bit fat failure! At the last 5 min run as well!

Completely gutted 😭😭😭 try again tomorrow!

You've made it to wk4 you're definitely not a failure. Some runs just don't go as we wish they had.

Have a rest day make sure you're drinking 2-3 litres of water per day and not just on run days it really helps.

Try again and go slow and slower again if needed . You can do it 😊

NEVER use the fail word here on C25K, put that down to a practice run, perhaps you were running a little too fast or were a little dehydrated, have a day off running and retry run 3 of week 4 again, run a little slower than you did today.

Don’t be gutted , just brush it off recover and go again , I’ve had so many runs that didn’t go well , just keep at it and eventually something just clicks and it will get easier :)

I have to agree with everyone else, the only fail, is staying on the couch. You got off the couch weeks ago. You're allowed a practice run or an extra rest day. But you cant fail.

Just re-group and go again, but go slower!

You can do it. Have faith and dont be so hard on yourself. :-)

Some runs are just bad for whatever reason. If it was all smooth sailing then where would be the achievement in that! The good runs do boost your confidence but the bad ones build character!! I should know 🤣I’ve had a few. Don’t think it’s a failure it’s not if you repeat it then it’s a practice run. Go slow - so slow it looks like some sort of weird shuffle!! remember to have rest days and drink plenty of water. Sending you lots of positive vibes for your next run 🏃‍♀️

Hi Maddie, I too struggled with my first run of week 4 and ended up taking a few days off more than I should have. Yesterday I decided to completely restart week 4 and run 1 was much more successful. About to head off for run 2. Really glad I didn’t give up

Wishing you the best of luck 💪🏻 You can definitely do it!

Hi Maddie, I've hit a brick wall on W4 R1 a couple of times now but just kept considering the incomplete ones as practices. I should have tried again on Saturday morning but didn't get out with the aim of doing it this morning. I didn't do that either as I had a silly fall on Saturday night & hurt myself a bit. With Christmas coming up now I think I'm going to get out whenever I can and just keep trying to complete W4R1 as often as possible before throwing myself back into the programme come the New Year. Take your rest days and then get out there & try again, but try to go slower. If you've found it relatively easy up to now then today's problem must be just a glitch. Good luck with it, the programme does work...

Ooh I'm happy to see someone else is struggling with 5 mins. Let's try again and keep posting. Well done for getting out. Weather is rubbish at the moment

You haven’t failed! I have just done the same run for the first time and found that last run hard! Agreed with above, even if you just shuffle along! Would love to hear you’ve done it next tine! YOU CAN DO THIS!
