Even if you "only" did half that's still more than you did before. I did my first run on saturday and couldn't manage 60 seconds running so I was running for 45 and walking for 105. I plan to keep repeating week 1 until I can do it all. Keep going, it'll get easier. If the running is too much do a quick walk instead. You can do this!!

Have you read the guide to the plan? healthunlocked.com/couchto5... it explains about jogging at a pace at which you can hold a clear ungasping conversation.........if you cannot then you are going too fast. It doesn't matter if you can walk faster, as long as you maintain the running action.

You can do this!

NEVER, NEVER use that F word (fails) here on C25K, that was a practice run for you today Monica, just run your next one slowly and if you cannot run for 60 seconds, try to run for 50 seconds and gradually you will get to 60 seconds.

The failure was the other version of you who didn’t go and try this. This you is a competitor, taking on a challenge, willing to take a defeat and come back for more, willing to work and learn until they get through this. There’s no failure in this version of you!

We got you. And you’ll have the people coming after you. It’s a wonderful place.

Read everything IannodaTruffe linked and said... he really knows his stuff both on the physical and mental sides of running and getting through this programme.

Aww thank you, I’m determined to keep at it even if it takes longer than 8 weeks

Dont give up, you make progress every time you try so stick with it! There's nothing wrong with repeating a week's runs as it means you are building up xx

Take as many weeks as you need. And slow right down , I can remember my first run, what a shock to the system that was🤣🤣.

Take a rest day, and next run, remember SLOW, maybe even slower than you usually walk.🤩

I will try and go slow, thank you for your support x
