So this dreadful cold that everyone I know seems to have had got me last week. All week. I haven’t been so ill in ages. There is still some wheezing and coughing hanging on this week and as I am asthmatic I know I have to be careful. Took ill just after my new Garmin watch arrived too! So how long do I sit out and how will that impact my fitness and all of the hard work I have put in so far?

Poor you, do be careful especially with your asthma. General rule is if you feel it in the chest dont run. When you do return don't push too fast/far to quickly. It is perfectly acceptable to just go for a short run to test how you're feeling then no pressure on completing a given part of the plan. Please take care

Thanks, Granny. About what I thought. So desperate to get back out but no sense in making it worse. Cheers!
