I started c25k 01/10/18 it took me about 17 weeks to complete due to having to repeat runs. I graduated on the 15/02/19.
I doubted myself a lot of times but all the people on here were really encouraging and supportive and new exactly how to help and what to say as they all started the same way.
I continued to run 3 times a week then about 14 weeks ago I started parkrun which I run every 2 weeks. Then today I ran it in 29 minutes 56 seconds.
Now I'm trying to get to 10k by adding on a small amount of running to one run a week.
So for anyone just starting or Wherever you are in the plan keep going , keep trying and keep posting.
C25k is a brilliant plan to get anyone running and an excellent forum to help.
So to every one on here, I thank you for helping me ๐ค๐ค๐ค๐ค

๐๐Fantastic time! ๐คฉ ๐ฎ lovely encouraging post too as you always are! You were always at the end of every one of my runs cheering me on & it meant so much! Thank you Buddy๐
As the only person I have met on the forum in person I congratulate you on your achievements here on C25K, you ran all the runs slow and steady and as I am always advising people, they can repeat as many runs or week's if they wish
Onwards and upwards to running a 10K in a few weeks time after that wonderful sub 30 minute 5k at parkrun yesterday. ๐ ๐๐พ
Thank you for this message I got to week 6 and then have been ill. Itโs great to hear that you persevered and encourages me that I can get there too.
Well done on your park run achievement thatโs amazing
Thatโs a great post for motivation, a sub 30 min 5 k is just a distant dream for us but seeing posts like yours has encouraged us to keep running Buddy so thank you
Happy Sunday
I'm going to get where you are now my friend and I love the fact that this is achievable by following the programme. I always say 'You can't go from A to Z without going through the alphabet' and whether you go round a few letters slower or back a few letters, we can all get there in our own time. Brilliant to read of your deserved success and the hard yards on the way there.
What a lovely post. You've always been there when I've doubted myself and let the gremlins get the better of me. Thank you so much for helping me along the way.
I dream of running 5k in 30 mins. Well done! Inspiration for anyone doubting themselves
Congratulations, thatโs a fantastic time, well done and thank you for all your encouraging posts and support for others.
Well done. It's great to hear of your success. It is particularly helpful to know that you took extra weeks doing C25k. I think that's really important. Also allow your body to adapt gradually. Don't push hard every time. Helps avoid injury and is more enjoyable.
If you have various training sessions including interval training you will improve.
