Ah see this is where it starts to feel harder...legs have suddenly put on 3 stone each,at least, so to run with them feels like wading through custard. Still the sky was clear this morning so the sky looked beautiful and starry...and I found some long forgotten tunes on my phone so I was back in the 90s most of the way. Good times!
Second run...: Ah see this is where it starts to... - Couch to 5K
Second run...
Well done.
Stretching after every run and hydrating as suggested in the guide to the plan can help avoid heavy legs.
I've taken heavy legs into the start of my next run before and it's no fun until you get properly warmed up.
But.... I'll bet your recovery time was much, much shorter than previous runs. And you'll be surprised how much better you feel tomorrow.
Must admit though, I feel the need for the 2 rest days after run 3 of each week.
Dynamic stretches before you run and static stretches when you finish, plus you might need to drink more water.
Keep at it, enjoy the tunes, keep your hydration up... you'll get there ππ»π
SO glad you are enjoying yourself! π
Have found that I get more tired and my legs feel worse when I haven't drunk enough water and they get stiffer and take longer to warm up if I haven't stretched enough.
Well done on doing it anyway, even with weights attached to your legs!!
