Following yesterday’s walk/run on icy roads my legs feel heavy and achy. Do you think this is because I was a bit tense? I usually have tired legs after running but not as bad as today.

I would say so. You're usually relaxed and yesterday you were being careful not to fall. Get out and enjoy a brisk walk it might loosen everything. 😊😊
