I did my first run yesterday and enjoys it 😁 my throat was a bit sore after probably because on the cold wind my next run is on Wednesday and I’m looking forward to it feeling positive πŸ‘

Great for getting started Sammy1345.

Just go slow and slower again if needed and remember to drink lots of water per day and not just on run days about 2-3 litres it really helps.

C25k is an amazing plan and really does work you'll get lots of encouragement and support on here good luck 😊

You sound like a mouth breather, may take a while to adjust to breathing in all the cold air. I found in the early stages of running it helped to have a small bottle of water with me while I got used to running. Good luck

Well done for getting started.

You could try sipping water along the way to help with that throat.

Good luck!

Welcome aboard and well done for getting started! That's the hardest part! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜‰

Make sure you're not running too fast and making yourself out of breath.

Have a read through the guide

Also breathing through a Buff or neck scarf can really help reduce that cold, lip balm is a must this time of year too πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ˜
