As in non-running days ?
Strength exercises. 45 mins to an hour, 3 times a week.
Usually a lower body workout and an upper body workout. If I'm lazy, then I just do the lower body workout.
Lower body, mainly squats, some hip stuff, single leg deadlift, and calf raises. This is my leg stregthening routine.
Upper body - mainly lifting dumbells, shoulder presses, bicep curls, rows, tricep thingy, lateral raises.
Plus a few running drills (ankle jumps, running on spot knee high, knee raises, balance on one leg).
Sunday, I do nothing exercise wise.
It won't stay like that, I'll switch stuff in and out. I've decided I've got a goal of doing a pull-up (or chin-up), so am trying to build upper body so that I can work towards that aim.

Days off are just non run days, I choose between nhs runners exercises and “Adrienne does yoga for runners” throwing in some squats, lunges and planks. Good luck

Up to now, hiit workouts from YouTube on my tv, bit of yoga and dog walking. Today I have downloaded the strength and flex podcasts so going to get started tomorrow. Feel I need to focus as well on core exercises xx
Where can I find the strength and flex podcast, please?

Btw: has anyone got a good program for just dumbbells (without a bench)?
