Hi I just achieved week 5 on couch to 5k and then took a weeks holiday with no running involved. Can I resume to week 6 or should I go back a few weeks?

Your last run was 20min, 1st of week 6 is back to 2 short runs, give it a go. Good luck

You should be fine, you don't really lose fitness for about 2 weeks. Go for it!

Just remember the slow and steady mantra!

You could head out..as GoGo_JoJo says..we don't lose fitness that quickly. Listen to your body..take it steady and slow...any doubt..pop back a run and refresh:)

Go ahead for week 6 !! I didnt run for 2 weeks and when I returned (week 6) I had the best run so far, so do not worry and have confidence !!

I'm hoping to finish week 4 this week before taking a week away from my running shoes so the answers to your question are of great interest to me. I admit that I'm still not 100% sure what I will do (I've still got two Week 4 runs to do and it's taken me 3 attempts until I could complete Run 1). I'll see how I feel as the advice appears to be that you're OK for up to 2 weeks before you start to lose fitness. For me I feel I can start week 5 as the first run is no longer than I should have completed in W4, and for you, W6 starts with shorter runs than you last did. I'm in no rush to complete the programme but am determined TO complete the programme. If this means taking a step back now and again, I'm happy to do that rather than become discouraged and just give up. However I am a strong believer in the fact that until you try you will not know if you can do it! Good luck with however it works out.
