Just back from the gym and have ran my first 6K. Feeling chuffed to bits and for me a massive sense of achievement.
Not sure whether my back and hips will let me get to 10k but would love to try. Have been doing pilates classes twice a week for a while now which I enjoy, the benefits of which are paying off but nothing beats the buzz I get from running. I've got more energy, definitely fitter and feel happier for it.
Keep going everyone and enjoy those runs.

Have a look at the bridge to 10k forum. There are a large group of people starting ju ju's magic plan in a couple of weeks. You can go through it either aimifor 10 in 8 weeks or 1hr running in 8 weeks. Good luck
