It's been a busy week this week but still managed to run 2 x 5ks during the week and 10k today π
I run a brand new route today at Rother Valley Country Park, which is half an hours drive from my home and somewhere that I spent many lovely times as a teenager, messing about in boats β΅
I went there to check out the route as I've entered a 5k race there in November! Eeeeek! π ππΌββοΈ
The intention was to run around the lake once, have a coffee and go back home... But it was so nice I ran round twice π€£
Enjoy the rest of your weekend xxx

I would. I'm still very slow tho you know π. I went for a run in Endcliffe Park yesterday. Got absolutely soaked but I loved it. I must have caught the running bug, I was splashing through puddles like a childπxxx
Yes, I am very lucky to have such beautiful places within a few miles of home.
And I am really loving my runs. I think now that I don't need to follow instructions or worry if I can last another 60 seconds, then I can pretty much loosely follow a plan like ju-ju- s Magic Plan and make some of it up as I go along π
Itβs going well so far, although Iβm fully expecting to have some βPracticeβ days as it gets tougher! Did W3R3 on Friday and felt good so I added 2 mins to the final segment to prepare for W4. I take 2 days rest between weeks, so back at it tomorrow. I run around a lake opposite where I live so thereβs some nice scenery. I find Iβm not so bothered about having music where the outlook is so beautiful.
You're doing great! Well done with the extra couple of minutes! It always give me a bigger buzz when I can add on a bit extra (no matter how small π)
I also like to have a 2 day rest before my longer runs. And I very rarely run with music now. I quite like listening to the radio when I run π»
