We decided to try a different route one that will be well lit in the evenings for our after work runs,
For the warm up walk we didn’t pass any walkers so i was surprised that once we started running we passed loads of walkers as we say we don’t run faster than we walk, still passed by runners though but speed is not what we are after
It’s just over 2k from where we parked the car to the pier so including warm up and cool down we covered just over 4k and the sun shone on us all the way, Willow runs best to cold play so that’s what we usually run to, time to get him his own headphones i think as i have other music that is enjoy more than he would
Every kilometer was under ten minutes which pleased me and one was under nine
Love the sea and love to run along the prom where it’s wide enough for everyone
Happy Sunday all

Not being passed by old people running lol but we kept up with some and my aim is to not hurt Willows knee and that’s 2 runs now where he hasn’t limped home so it’s good
Fantastic run for you today, happy Sunday to both of you as well, lovely photo of where both of you run, all the kilometers under 10 minutes, great, enjoy the rest of the day 😊 🏃🏾
I know exactly where that photo is taken! It’s on my doorstep, well about 4 miles away. I’ve signed up to the 10K along that prom in June! Long way to go yet as I’m only at week 8 of the C25K 😬
Bet you were one of those runners who flew past us then as we are old and slow but really enjoyed it, where we run is not lit so wanted to try that out for an after work run later in the week
Lucky you living so close ah you said 4miles just a bit further for us but not much
We definitely didn’t fly past you! I’m slow-as-you-like, just happy to get through the 28 mins at the moment. We were running more local to us this morning. It was a lovely sunny day, a bit chilly though.
