Wow, I still can't quite believe it. I actually just ran for 20 minutes, non-stop.... 20 MINUTES!!
It was tough and my legs started hurting after literally 5 minutes and I didn't know how I was going to push through until the end... But I did it π
Feeling very proud of myself and amazed at this programme right now! πββοΈ

Congratulations Ember22 on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran ππΎ π ππΎ
Well done! I am on week 5 but in some ways, day 1 week 1 is probably the hardest. It took me probably 2 years to get to day 1 week 1, but I'm glad I finally got off the couch, and congratulations to you for doing so too.
I'm still struggling with super achey calves at the moment, which start about 5 mins in to running, so I'm hoping I can keep pushing through it and my calves will start to get stronger soon π€
I'm a bit nervous for the 25 min run on Wednesday but I've found the stop/starting of this week quite hard too, so I'm hoping the constant pace of a longer run will be a bit easier again.
Thank you having faith in me π I have runs where I don't feel like I'm improving and want to give up, but I'm determined to see this through to the end πͺ
Keep up your hard work and you'll be running for 30 mins in no time!
You are doing brilliant and your legs will get stronger as mine have.
I just hit a snag though...
Finished my second 25 min run on Sun Wk7R1 and found it easy but today I have a pain behind my left knee at back of leg.
My initial worry is that it is hamstring orientated.
My run day is tomorrow for WK7R2.
I am going to see what it is like tomorrow. Not sure if I should just go for it and hope it eases itself off or pause for a few days before carrying on.
So typical when I was just getting right into it and enjoying the longer runs.
Well done Ember22 huge achievement π you should be so proud of how far you've come! It's amazing what you can do by trusting in this programme isn't it π
Fantastic well done, it's an amazing feeling isn't it? Just think how far you are from how you felt in week 1 ππ½ββοΈππ½ββοΈππ½ββοΈ
It really is! Back in week 1 I never would have thought it was possible for me to run for 20 mins and now my next run on weds is a 25 minute run. Little bit nervous but I think I can do it πββοΈ
Hooray! Thatβs super! I remember the amazing feeling when I did the 20 min run, made it seem possible I could actually get to the 5k! I ran my first 10k last week! Itβs amazing what we can do if we set our mind to it! Your legs will be tired but I Find that feeling goes a few kms in, just plod on through the tiredness! It will get better!!!!
