Plantar pretty much sorted, just need some nerve pain rehab which he says is the easy bit! I have to “nerve floss” which should be fun. So I’m strapped up again and Simon says gentle one minute run one minute walk and see how it goes for this week. Yikes....I’m so nervous, wish me luck peeps! 🏃🏻‍♀️🥺🏃🏻‍♀️

It's only normal you would be nervous but you've been really great in doing as instructed. Good luck with your gentle run/walk. Let us know how you get on . 😊🤞🤞🤞

can you repeat those 2 minutes or is it just a 2 minute run/walk for this one?

you will be FINE!

what is nerve flossing?

Thank you guys..... walked a moderately brisk 5 k in the end and after the first 2.5 did 5 x 1 minute jogs over the next k or so. It appears I can still run!! It’s a bit sore now I’ve finished but not massively. So this is me for the next 2 outings this week. Really pleased with progress. Thanks so much for putting up with me 🥴😘🏃🏻‍♀️

I’m pleased but if I’m honest frustrated that I can’t just run. I need to put some serious body strengthening work in and shift some weight over the winter. I feel really motivated which is positive. Thx for your support

It's so annoying doing as we're told isn't it!? 🤣🤣🤣 I was dreadful when I broke my toe!

Seriously check out YouTube stuff you can do at home, I guarantee that A. You'll feel really stoopid the first few times. B. It will make you feel better. C. It actually all does really work, you get stronger all over 👍🏻💪🏻🤣

Thx. I’ve been to Decathlon and invested in some weights and resistance trickery, it’s gonna be fun!!! 🤪

Its also dull!! Like anything else, make it a habit or those weights will become doorstops.... now where's that kettlebell again...🤔🙈🤣

I am yes. A shorter walk tomorrow with a couple of minute runs and then just a walk before Parkrun marshalling on Sat.

If Simon says then it must be fine 😀...just take it nice and easy, and don't be tempted to do more than you're supposed too. Good luck 😘
