Two years ago this month I started the C25K as another new thing in my 60th birthday year. Yesterday I ran (jogged, hobbled, stumbled) with over 20,000 people around my first half marathon. And believe me the excitement and pride of getting over that finish line was unbelievable.

So don’t stop at 5 there is the most amazing world out there!!

Enjoy them. I did my second yesterday. I ran along the beach and was running head on into a northerly wind on my way back. So-I walked for 5 of my 30 minutes and it felt good that there was no internal dialogue about sticking to the plan 🏃🏽‍♀️😃

Thanks, went for an X-ray last week, 3 1/2 weeks in & still no change but at least it’s not worse. Still for once I’m managing to catch up on the programmes that I’ve taped on tv.

When I see your user name it reminds me of teaching mine & my minded children to read using ‘Letterland’. My boys were munching Mike & ticking Tom which they annoyingly changed to ticking tess, happy days. You’ve probably no idea what I’m talking about 😂😂😂

Thank you Annieapple, I'm building up my strength and stamina still and this week on holiday and enjoying my joffling around beautiful Suffolk countryside, so different views and terrain which is exciting. Knees are holding up, so I might just try picking up W7:R3 later this week and see how it goes. I'm confident I'll get to graduation at some point, soon'ish. Hope you have a fab trip to Canada.
