So against the advice of family n friends I went 4 my run this evening. My foot has hurt for the past 2 runs but I'm just enjoying the time running so much n am petrified 2 take time off 2 rest my foot only 2 b set back a few weeks. Wish I would have waited. Currently icing my foot rather than in the pub with my mates as per plan! I should have listened 2 my body n all around me. Feeling annoyed with myself tbf l.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing isn’t it? Two weeks ago I’d finished W7r3 and during the cool down my right knee became very painful. I’d had a few niggles with it previously, so decided to have a couple of days rest. Unfortunately it didn’t get any better. I took the advice of a fellow C25Ker and saw a physio, so glad I did she has worked wonders. Although I’m still not running at the moment, my knee is feeling stronger and when I eventually get back to C25K I will probably have to start back at W1 🤦🏻♀️. So what I’m saying is, take your time, get your foot checked too, C25K doesn’t have a time limit, you’ll get there 🤞🏻
Aah pity we are all sometimes stubborn in this life but I understand your angst to be out there!!
Rest it properly now. Those runs will wait!! Patience & starting again are two valuable lessons for us runners...builds up the mental stamina for the full runs later!!
