Week 8 is underway! In the rain!

So just returned from the first run of week 8! Not too bad considering it was mainly in the rain!

A few clouds wasn’t going to put me and my son off! We had new running gear to try out!

We both got a light running jacket- mine is neon yellow- so very embarrassing for a teenager to be seen with! He got a very smart blue!

I got a long sleeved running top with holes for your thumbs- 7 weeks ago I don’t think I knew such things existed!

He had new trainers too - finally he went off ahead of me after 2 km. He didn’t have the app and ran on much further but he’s improving so much on this programme he’s fine now! Young and fitter!

Congratulations on completing run 1 of week 8, if everyone didn't run when there were clouds in the sky, there would be no running at all anywhere, onwards and upwards to run 2 of week 8, not long now until you graduate.
