Pouring down yet again, now I know I look ridiculous in lycra there is no need for the weather gods to throw wind and rain at me to try and keep me indoors so I don't either scare the neighbours.
Week 9 session 1 completed though.
Have decided that as a treat for finsihing the program, assuming the next two sessions go according to plan, I am going to treat myself to a decent pair of running shoes. There is a local Up and Running shop that does gait analysis so will go there.
This week seemed so far away back in Mid December when I started the program. Feels good to have got this way.

You're a big lad so wind and rain, cold etc shouldn't bother you. We generally get out there whatever the weather. You soon get acclimatised, you'll see
Good job on getting to week 9. Just 2 more runs! Wooohoooooo. Go steady and see you at the finish line.
We might think we look crap in lycra but no-one else gives a stuff, so don't worry about it. It actually sucks everything in quite well. LOL
Well done Andy! This is great and graduation is just round the corner, you're doing brilliantly Lycra is a cruel, very skinny persons invention - turns everyone into unflattering sacks of ferrets... pah, who cares, we're running and proud!
