Did first park run last week

Was visiting my parents in Suffolk so finally got to do a park run, I’ve still got a sore hamstring so took it very slow, but ran all the way apart from my 5 minute warm up, so really pleased. Don’t really like my new trainers, not great on some surfaces, but Christmas is coming so hope to have do a gait analysis done somewhere and get some better ones. Did a run along the canal this morning. 3.1 miles, but again slow. Physio tomorrow.

Well done to you 😊

What new trainers did you get?

I'm thinking about getting a new pair, do you have any advice?

Thanks for the link, they looked good.

Wish I did. Sadly I have to shop online as nearest sport shop is about 80 miles away. But hope to get a gait analysis done in the near future. This is my first new pair since I started in June as used a pair I already had, but have worn them out 😏

80 miles, crikey! 😊

I have lots of shops close to my home that sell them but I don't know what ones to get. A gait analysis might be the way to go though.

You must have done some running to wear them out 😅

Thank you for your reply 😊

Congratulations on completing your first parkrun last week, shoes are very important for running so it is advisable to get a gait analysis and buy the recommended shoes.
