Just finished the above book by John Bingham which I found really interesting. It’s about not being the fastest or the best, being a ‘back of the pack’ runner and enjoying running for the sake of it. And if you need to walk, walk! Well worth a read I think. Also Jog On by Bella Mackie and Eat, Drink, Run by Bryony Gordon which also cover anxiety and depression. As I am going to have start over next week as this week I have been pretty ill, these books have helped me realise that’s it’s ok and it really doesn’t matter if I finish in 9 weeks or 9 months as long as I try!

That’s interesting, I’m always looking for a good book or two. Will check them out! And starting over is fine, I’m only a beginner too but the advice on here is take it at your own pace and repeat whenever you need to. Keep going! 😁

If you enjoy it, you keep doing it! They sound like great reads so I’ll look out for them. Happy running!

Definitely running because we like it not because we have to. 😊😊

Lots here for those with injuries, & feeling frustrated, to get on and read, while they recover. Thanks, making a note of them for my holiday coming up! 📚
