So holidays, work, puppy, illness and ankles (!!) meant I’d not been for a run in 3 weeks. I spied a chance yesterday lunchtime and thought, ’if I don’t go now it’s just going to get harder and harder!’ ( Also somewhat inspired by a colleague doing Great North Run today!!!). So with a slow 20 mins in mind to ease myself in, I set off but felt ok so did a familiar ‘out n back’ 30 instead. Felt really good afterwards and not awful during. I’m limited for time during next 5 weeks but if I can keep the legs and lungs going even if only once a week until a bit of normality kicks back in and maybe join that running club I’ve my eye on, think I’ll be ok. Happy Sunday folks!
