2nd park run a bit better. Last 32.11 this one on another flat course 30.43. 5K under 30 still escapes me. Maybe after hols etc in about 3 weeks.

Well done, Skeg! Have you got several Parkruns near to you then?

Thanks. Yep don't drive but via bus still have 3 the third with hills. With car add on at least another 2 within 10 miles.

Fantastic, nice to have options!

Yes choice is nice. Although the 3rd has hills there's only 1 lap unlike the other two which has 3 each. So I'm getting tempted for the change and the challenge never mind the time. Watch this space 🙂

My local Parkrun in Bedgebury forest is very hilly, I just go very slowly up them and try to remember that uphill running is really really good for me... I like the fact that it's just one route rather than laps.

Just did a google maps, oh yes very nice. Beats my Walsall, Perry Hall and Sutton which has NNR status. The trees are being thinned a fare bit to put the park back to how it was decades ago. My local street runs are inclines and at least one step 1K hill so I'm getting used to pacing myself for it. Time is about 33.30 so I'm probably worrying about my time too much.

Thanks. I actually came 1st in my age group 70 - 74 but then there were only 4 of us 🙂 I fell over. Afterwards the runners with smile said you did like a gambol got straight up and flew away

Keep doing the runs as your stamina will improve and the times will drop I am sure 👍🏻
