For the first time ever.. I quit on a run. I had been away for 2 weeks so I completed W6 last week again and it went great.. I felt fab when I completed W6R3 on Sunday! I just don't know what happened today but 10 minutes in I just stalled.. I had a walk for a few minutes and tried again but I was done mentally. Feeling deflated π£

You have not failed, perhaps you weren't hydrated enough, remember you must drink plenty of water the day before you run and also a little water just before you run.
Take a extra day off before you repeat that run, you have already ran 25 minutes, so you can do it again, run that 25 minutes run a little slower than you ran the week 6/3 run, good luck. π π

Hi. These things happen sometimes, Iβm on the same run as you and did w7r1 this morning. As I had done this run on Sunday thought it would be fine but I found it really difficult. Just repeat the run you know you can do it. I noticed I can start tensing up when I run and have to tell myself to relax. Iβm sure youβre next run will be fine. Good luck. π
When your runs have been good and youβre feeling fab itβs very easy to set off a bit quicker.
Small changes in pace make a big difference. 10 minutes later the toxic ten hits you harder than normal. Slow down a little. You know you can run for 25 minutes.

You went out there and had a go. Everyone has a 'bad' run sometimes. I used to find the first 10 minutes of the longer runs really hard, now it takes about 5 minutes to get into the rhythm. (But not always). I also find running at lunch time really hard compare to evenings. So don't be disheartened, have a rest , have plenty to drink and try again. Maybe at a different time of the day and just a bit slower. You are doing great! πͺπββοΈπββοΈ

Look on it as a practice run! We all repeat runs at some point. Rest, hydrate and play some relaxing music on the next run. Helps you to run very slowly. ππββοΈπ£π§

I remember having to do that & I too felt deflated. All I can say is another day is another day and it will probably be better. Be kind to yourself. Drink plenty of water and sleep well. π

You've already ran for 25 minutes you can so do it again. Some runs just don't go to plan. Have a rest day and try again. Well done you π

It's all been said already but just try not to feel deflated - take an extra rest day, or two, and come back feeling refreshed! You can do it. βΊ
UPDATE!! W7R1 Completed π Thank you all for your advice & encouragement. On we go!! πββοΈ
