I need to build up the tendon and calf muscle in my left leg. Very sore and tender, was looking to do week 7 this week but will need to postpone until next week, any advise?

You do what's right for you. Get stronger first give yourself time to heal and when you are ready try a slow short run just to see what you can manage . All going well you can continue. Good luck 😊
