I did the women’s Couch to 5k run at Alexander Park today, and it was a great reminder to check into the forum with an update.
I graduated in June 2017, and I have kept in running. And it does get easier! Earlier in the week I revisited one of my week8/9 routes prior to today’s run and was reminded how much I struggled with those runs!
I still have a love/hate relationship with running, not helped by injury late last year, but I know I am fitter than I was. Im currently in training for a 10k in October, not helped by the recent hot weather.
Today’s run was a great reminder of the support we all give each other. For anyone currently working through C25k, stick with it, believe in yourself and the programme - it really is worth seeing it through.
Oh yes and in 2 years I have only managed a 30 min 5k once!
